By applying and by publishing your profile on Snail Mail Club you agree to the following. It's written short on purpose: we want it to be easy to understand.
What we expect from you
On-time delivery. Every subscriber gets a mailing once a month, within the month they paid for. If you can't make it one month, tell us beforehand and tell your subscribers.
Send what you promised. What you describe on your profile is the commitment: same technique, same quality, same format.
Make it yourself. The work must be your own and original, without copying anyone else's work or using material with someone else's rights.
Respond. Reply to subscribers' emails and ours within a reasonable time.
Content that isn't allowed
You may not send or publish: sexually explicit content, content that inappropriately involves minors, incitement to hatred or violence, harassment, illegal material, substances, liquids, dangerous or perishable objects, or anything the postal service prohibits. Third-party advertising inside the mailing is also not allowed.
If this happens, we remove the profile and cancel active subscriptions.
Price and platform commission
You set the monthly price of your subscription. Snail Mail Club keeps 10% of each subscription as a commission for promotion, the website, and maintaining the directory. The remaining 90% is yours, including the shipping cost, which is your responsibility.
Payment is collected into Snail Mail Club's account and we transfer your share every month. If the percentage ever changes, we'll let you know a month in advance.
Publishing and withdrawal
We review every application by hand and may accept it or not. You can ask us to remove your profile whenever you like; you just need to fulfill the mailings for the month already paid for. We may remove a profile if these terms are broken.
Your subscribers' data
You receive your subscribers' addresses only to get their mailings to them. You can't use them for anything else, share them, or sell them. More detail in the privacy notice.
